Wood: Such an amazing material with so much character and
movement. It’s a pleasure to see installed but sometimes a nightmare to work
with. Wood has a mind of its own and that is what makes it so special. It breathes,
warps, expands and contracts. It requires maintenance to preserve its lustre and
weathers to a beautiful patina. Wood has become a luxury amongst all the other
alternative building materials and can be utilised as a feature or a
