We’ve moved residences! I am now nestled under the Granville
Street Bridge in Vancouver, just steps away from the Granville Island
community!
Granville Island is located
on the water’s edge of False Creek. This quant part of town used to be a mud
flat/sand bar that would be covered with water when the tide was high. They
later filled in the location to create a permanent island. The island was predominantly
used as an industrial area until the buildings were converted to art galleries, markets
and restaurants. Now it’s a bustling destination for visiting tourists and locals!
