What a perfect Room. Soft and Neutral, dark walls, stunning tone-on-tone architectural elements, the light furniture and that bleached wood chandelier. The only thing it needs is... oh wait no, they nailed it. Kelly Green, full length curtains = Stunning. I am in love with this room!

Laduree
That is where you may find those adorable little French macaroons. The 150-year-old company is opening its first ever store in America ... Unfortunately not in Vancouver. How much would you love to pick up your fresh Patisseries here? The display is just so lovely and just so...French!
I have found a few places that you can enjoy some Vancouver style Macaroons. Head over to the Urban Tea Merchant on Main Street in West Vancouver to enjoy these delectable treats with your afternoon tea. The Park Royal Village is a perfect place to walk off your sugar high and check out some cute boutique shops like Kiss and Makeup.

Let's have a Kelly Wearstler Moment
I idolize Kelly Wearstler. Some of her designs can be daring and even disturbing at times, but it is a style that is all her own. I love the boldness of her unique and personal taste. With that very confident design, she has created a strong image and brand that is unmistakably hers. She has done beautiful and original work across the USA including residences and hotels. She has also published multiple books and is soon to launch her very own online Boutique. Check out some images from Doheny Estates below!

I’m searching for a knee length, wool camel coat this winter. I think this will nicely round out my personal fall-to-winter outerwear collection; camel goes well with just about anything. Also, as much as I love a beautiful, well tailored black coat, it’s nice to see something a little lighter and brighter on those drizzly Vancouver days.
I have found a few I like, Any other suggestions where I can pick one of these up?

Island Bound
I’m heading out to Vancouver Island this evening on the Georgia Strait Dinner Cruise (AKA BC Ferries) to get all the final touches in order on my Sister’s Saturday Wedding.
I am very excited for the events to follow and I will have a huge amount of photos to share when I return next week.
Until then, let's see How Martha Steward gets it done...

Lovely Living Space

The perfect, soft grey wall colour (such a challenge to get the right one in your space) sets the tone here. Creamy furnishing, full height windows with shears and architectural crown mouldings create this elegant living room. This room is so luxurious yet looks very liveable. I love the slightly off-balance symmetry that has been created here.

One Bold Wall

...and keep everything else simple. This grass cloth wall has enough pizzazz to keep the other items in the room more subdued. Don’t go too quiet with furniture though or else they won’t be able to stand up against the backdrop. Dark chocolate browns and rich gold hues work very well here.
