This seemed appropriate for the season and should help get
you into the Halloween spirit. An innovative theatre initiative in New York City
is creeping the pants off of me. Felix Barrett from the theatre group Punchdrunk
has converted three old warehouses into the setting of the play ‘Sleep no More.’ The guests are invited
to tour the interiors of these creepy old spaces and interact and observe the
actors within the rooms. I must say, the warehouses have been impeccably re-designed
to look like a Hotel (Mckittrick Hotel). It is layers and layers of convincing
and creepy props, mostly vintage and second hand items that make this a
multisensory experience for the audience. There is a real beauty to these sets.
What are your thoughts? Would you go check this interactive play out?
