What a cool use of space. This was designed by Dean-Wolf
Architects in New York City. The converted warehouse now boasts a whopping
10,500 square feet of living space. The zones of the house have been layered to optimise the
space and ‘warehouse like’ materials have been utilized to keep the look cohesive
and appropriate. Steel and concrete are the primary materials but other
materials such as brick, wood and glass are also present. Courtyards have been
creating throughout the home to allow sunlight and airflow by way of Nana walls
(retractable glass doors).
